How to Bring Home a North Shore Puppy
Puppy Application
Our dogs are bred for racing, any available puppies will be placed in performance homes only. Our puppy application can be found at the bottom of this page. Application must be approved to be considered.
Puppy Picks
Puppy homes will be determined at 8 weeks old. Puppies do not start developing their individual personalities until 4-6 weeks old. It is also best to judge their individual temperament at 7.5 weeks and conformation at 8 weeks old. We place our puppies in homes that we feel will be best suited for our puppies. We believe that puppies should never be picked solely based on looks.
**We do not sell puppies guaranteed as performance dogs. While we do breed for great athletes, we can not guarantee the ability of dog we did not raise and train.
Puppy Updates
Pictures and/or videos will be uploaded to our Facebook page weekly. If you do not have Facebook, we will gladly e-mail or text them to you!
Visitors
Visitors will be welcome by appointment only. We do not allow visitors prior to the puppies being 6 weeks of age as a preventative measure for your puppy’s health.
Registration
We do not place puppies with a Full Registration.
Puppies are placed with an AKC Limited Registration or registered as a co-ownership. When registered as a co-ownership, when requirements have been met, Co-Owner shall receive full registration. Greyhounds will be placed with a limited AKC and NGA registration.

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. They are eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Earthdog, Fast Cat, CAT, Scentwork, Junior Showmanship, Trick Dog and CGC.
Going Home
Puppies will be able to leave for their new homes when they tell us they are ready. We do not go by a set age as every weaning process can vary. Most litters will be ready to go home around 10 weeks old. Under no circumstances will puppies go home until we feel they are ready.
All puppies are up to date on de-worming, age appropriate vaccines, and come with a health report from our vet.
